Made of a blend of polyester and polyamide (nylon) fibers, microfiber towels are some of the most innovative and versatile cleaning tools you can include in your cleaning kit.
Microfiber is unique because while it’s 100x finer than a human hair, it’s also incredibly absorbent at the same time, allowing you to pick up more dirt and liquids with minimal effort. Microfiber is safe for nearly all surfaces including windows and mirrors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and electronics.
Because they require less scrubbing to get your surfaces bright and clean, microfiber towels simply make cleaning easier. With a spray of Puracy Natural Multi-Surface Cleaner, water, or even dry, microfiber towels collect and retain dust and dirt where cotton and other fabrics simply move it around.
Microfiber towels vary in quality, feel, and price point. Before choosing the best towels for your home, let’s learn more about what makes microfiber so powerful against everyday dirt and spills.

Microfiber towels and cotton cleaning cloths are often compared, yet they’re really worlds apart when it comes to cleaning. Not only are microfiber products more powerful at picking up dirt and grime, but they are also more absorbent, reducing the margin of cleaning error and saving you time and money.
The difference lies in the shapes of the fibers.
Dirt and liquids are pulled up and trapped in microfiber fibers, while cotton pushes them away, relocating surface grime without removing it.
Microfiber towels last longer over time and require less laundering. They don’t produce lint like cotton and other fabrics, so your surfaces will be smooth, shining, and streak-free without the unwanted fuzz.
No. Microfiber is non-toxic and when used as intended is safe for use on nearly all household surfaces.
It couldn’t be easier to clean your hard surfaces using Puracy’s edgeless microfiber towel. As with any household chore, first consider the scope of the job before deciding which type of cleaning product and what technique you will use. For fragile items like electronic devices and screens, we suggest spraying your microfiber towel first before gently wiping them down. Water is effective for cleaning more delicate surfaces as well.
Spray Puracy Natural Multi-Surface Cleaner directly onto more durable surfaces in sections. You’ll need about one spray for every 2-foot by 2-foot surface area. Use broad, sweeping motions while spraying to cover as much surface area as possible. Try not to accumulate a large amount of cleaner in a single area.
Next, use our edgeless microfiber towel to wipe down the surface. Apply medium pressure and wipe using fast-moving, overlapping “Z” patterns. For heavily soiled areas, let the cleaner sit on the surface for 30 seconds before wiping it away. This will give it a chance to cut through dirt and grime before you remove it.

Expert Tip: We like to fold our microfiber towel into quarters, rotating each side after a bit of use. This technique gives you more mileage out of a single towel and ensures you’re always wiping with a clean surface. Streaking is a sign that you’re either using too much product or need to rotate your towel to an unused side.
Routine cleaning of the most-used areas of your home keeps grease and grime from hardening and becoming more stubborn to remove. As cleaning expert Sean Busch says, “Frequent care is easy care.”
To start, we recommend washing your microfiber towels before your first use. Beyond that, you’ll know it’s time to launder your microfiber towel when it’s saturated with dirt or liquids or leaves streaks on your cleaning surface.
Microfiber is almost magnetic in the way it attracts nearly everything around it. That’s great if you’re picking up dust and dirt, but not so great when you wash them with your clothes and linens. That’s why it’s best to launder your microfiber towels all together, without any other fabrics. This way they won’t pick up lint from other items that can make them less effective.
Never use bleach or fabric softener when washing microfiber towels. We also advise staying away from powdered detergents, as the granules can become lodged in the tiny fibers of your towels. Instead, Puracy Free & Clear Laundry Detergent is ideal because it’s a gentle liquid, has no scent, and a little bit goes a long way. Wash in cold or warm water as hot water can damage the fibers in your clothes. Because microfiber is so absorbent, two rinses may be needed.
Drying microfiber is just as effortless. Use the delicate or permanent setting on your dryer and remove towels when they are still just a little bit wet. Loosely fold and allow them to finish air-drying before use.
As with every load of laundry, don’t forget to thoroughly clean your lint trap after every cycle. That will keep fibers from cycling back into your dryer and attaching to your microfiber towels.
With proper care and laundering, your microfiber towels will simplify your household cleaning routine, use less cleaning solution, and eliminate the need for single-use wipes.
To keep them looking and feeling their best, avoid these common microfiber mistakes:
Microfiber towels are safe for nearly every surface, but that doesn’t mean they’re always the best choice. For sandy, muddy, or especially clumpy messes, a scrubbing brush or other tool may be a better choice. Particles of dirt or sand can get trapped in microfibers and scratch your surfaces.
Washing with other types of fabrics, with the wrong detergent, or in water that’s too hot won’t do your microfiber towels any favors. Check our detailed washing tips above to keep your microfiber towels soft, absorbent, and lint-free for 500+ uses.
Microfiber towels are indispensable, yet not all are created equal. Inferior products aren’t as appealing to the touch. And cleaning -- after all -- is a sensory experience. They’re also generally less absorbent, less durable, and produce more lint than better-made products. If you want to get the most out of your cleaning cloth, choose one that’s been tried and tested for quality.
Yes! Microfiber mops offer all the same benefits of microfiber towels for cleaning your wood, laminate, and tile flooring. Microfiber mops use less cleaning solution than sponge, string, and spin mops. And because microfiber mop cloths are washable, you’re creating less waste than those spray stream mops that use detachable cleaning strips.
At Puracy, we believe microfiber cleaning towels are the ideal choice for most basic cleaning jobs. That’s why we decided to create our very own Puracy-branded microfiber towel. With so many options available in all price points, we knew ours had to be the absolute best.
Countless hours of research and testing led us to our brand new Puracy towel. With 16 x 16 square inches of surface area at the ideal weight for most cleaning jobs (600 grams per square meter), you’re going to wonder how you ever managed without it!
What makes our towel different from other products is its advanced edgeless design, which is free of sharp edges that can snag and scratch delicate surfaces. Without these tough edges, you’re able to use every possible inch of our microfiber towel, saving you time and effort.
At Puracy, we always consider the impact our products have on the environment. Inferior products are quick to tear and break down, causing lint that enters our waterways and potentially harms marine life. Our premium microfiber towels are virtually lint-free and can last for up to 500 washings when cared for properly. That means less lint and less waste overall.
Puracy’s edgeless microfiber towel offers the perfect balance of absorbency, durability, effectiveness, and softness to leave surfaces, clean, sparkling, and streak-free.
